I know I have a slightly neglected non-violent games list.
But there’s a entire lovely tumblr dedicated to just non-violent games.

Game idea: you take the "pretend to be an NPC" gameplay of games like Spy Party, but you invert it: you automatically move and interact like an NPC and use a very limited gauge of energy to do unique actions. You and three other players enter a massive real-scale theme park full of NPCs (all relatively low-poly like you, a la Sims 1 or Katamari) and you each have a goal and have to meet back up to complete your "day" and win. You can work together to make up for your dysfunctional natures, or split up and work on your objectives individually, which would intentionally never overlap or conflict. Only one player will get the objective to "try every flavor of ice cream at the park", for example, and no other objectives will directly interfere with that in any way. Different characters would have different unique abilities, like the ability to stretch out your arms to grab things from far away, or the ability to tell a boring story out loud to make other park guests leave your immediate space, but these all use up valuable and limited energy. The purpose of you moving and looking like and acting like NPCs is that one of the difficult factors is keeping track of who and where your friends are. The only in-game communication is locational, so you just have to agree to meet back up at a certain time and place and hope they make it if you get separated. You can hold hands, ensuring you move as a group, but that makes you move slower and have less available actions.
Somebody got any recommendations for non-violent video games for pc? Other than The Sims ;)

TRI: Of Friendship and Madness Review
by Chris Adkins
It's a fox! Kill it! Wait...sorry, wrong game. TRI is a game that is focused on puzzle solving and tranquility rather than violence and death. The player is dropped into the realm of the Odd God and is imbued with an increasing amount of powers in order to navigate the world and solve puzzles. ...
A List of Non-violent Games from Maslab's Steam Games List
I don't think I could have made a clunkier title if I'd tried. Anyway.
A relatively recent conversation with a friend of mine got me thinking about violence and video games. No not if they cause violence or not, but why are so many games violent? This got me wondering how many of my games were actually violent, so I decided to make this list.
Please note this is not comprehensive by any means; I am simply making this list from games that I own on Steam. Please feel free to send me corrections or make your own additions.
Here I am defining a violent game as one in which generally the player is the one asked to commit violence upon another person. Instances where there is violence committed on the player such as death will not count against the game (such as in Portal). This rule will be flexible based on the game and its intended message.
Gore and blood will also not necessarily be a factor, as gore can exist without the player initiating violence, and vice versa. This will be flexible, however. Games like Amnesia are right out because of how prominent violence is in the story and game, even though the player never initiates violence.
Games where violence is not the focus and/or is exceedingly rare will still be on the list. Violent games will include things like Crusader Kings, though, or else I'll have to put Game of Thrones here too.
One final note: I'm not saying these games are good.
LaSalle Ishii no Child's Quest is an RPG, but instead of fighting demons, you're tasked with managing a trio of up-and-coming pop stars. Encounters are non-violent, and instead center around persuading people to support you (or just not stay mad at you) by saying the right things and using plenty of charisma. Basically, you "fight" with words. Isn't that just the coolest thing ever? Plus the commercial is bonkers:
LaSalle Ishii no Child's Quest. Look it up.
