He’s an Arch-fey warlock, but he doesn’t know his patron’s identity! All he knows about his patron is that they were the voice that answered him in his time of greatest need and gave him the power to free himself. He had no one else in the entire world on his side, so his patron is the only one that he really trusts. (Even then, that trust isn’t 100%, but they’re the one that he trusts the most at this point in time.)

He has little interest in finding out who his patron is, so long as they never leave him and continue to be a strangely comforting presence in his mind.

Yeah!!! Syfy shows in general are super under appreciated imo, so unless you follow edits/daily/source blogs it can sometimes be hard to find and connect with other people that watch them on this site.

It’s neat that you saw it for the first time from me though!! If you go into the tag “darkmatteredit” you can probably find some more blogs that like it.

@nonakesh I have indeed been binge watching ahahaha, it's been my relaxation for the past two or so week actually! I might slow down for the next week while I study because I prefer watching then listening in the background but. After that. Bingewatching all day everyday

hello! i'm a fan of your art, and i got one question for you. i've been having quite the problem with this. do you paint the background in a separate layer? separate from the characters and everything besides? that's how i do, and at the end my drawing looks kinda out of place. its like i put the drawing on an entirely different background, like copy-paste. any advice on this? thank you!

I do do them separate! it actually messes me up horribly when i accidentally merge layers, but I know the issue you’re having because I’ve had it too. The best thing I can give for advice is to work back and forth on the two (or more) layers and not save the background for last. 

I normally build mine up with blocky colors and silhouettes of the characters and big things in the background. A lot of the time nothing matches quite right anyway and I merge all the layers together before I render too much and use photoshop’s selective color adjustment to level everything out. 

Also it’s infinitely helpful to bare minimum decide where/what your lighting is coming from and a rough guess of one main color for the background. That way you don’t draw a character like they’re standing in a artificially lit yellow kitchen and try and have them standing in a blue-green forest if that makes sense!

nah, I’ve had helicobacter pylori which i’ve been treated for but also gastritis, chest pains and a myriad of other problems so we gotta turn me into a human kebab
