It’s snowing. It’s snowing so, so hard right now but we still have finals! I haven’t heard anything about classes being canceled yet so I’m holed up in the dorm with more work around me than I think I have ever done. I didn’t think Valeton would be quite so challenging, honestly, but it’s been a bit more than I thought! To be honest, maybe it’s because I took six classes my first term in college? But I can handle that, it’s not the course load; I think it’s just the constant expectation of thought. We’re challenged far more here, expected to question and critically reflect on our work. I can’t wait to get to the upper level English courses; if they’re anything like the ones I’m in now, I’m in for a treat!

Back to studying. Cara’s playing her STUDY MIX (which I pretend to hate, but her taste in music is pretty amazing. Never heard of some of these bands until I met her).

One more day. One more day. ONE. MORE. DAY. They’re still making us take our finals, can you believe it?! It’s seriously colder than a Winnebago out there & blizzarding for, I am pretty sure, the rest of ever but NOT ONE of my professors altered their final schedule. One guy who always sits in the back emailed everyone and asked if we could have a take home test and the prof chewed him out. I think his name is Mark or something, he always seems so relaxed. Anyway — studying’s fine, this is my quick little break from reviewing for Freshman Comp, European history, and archaeology (science requirement!). Got my STUDY MAP on the wall and I’m doing pretty well if I do say so. I expect a good run of straight As! 

Oh - Andrew, that guy who lives up a couple of floors and studied with me during the term? He finished his test BEFORE ME yesterday. WHAT?!?!?! Whatever, I was thorough.

26: what movies could you watch over and over and still love?

Well, some that I already have include.... 10 Thing I Hate About You, Miss Congeniality, She's The Man, Pitch Perfect, Easy A, Mean Girls... those are all the ones off the top of my head.

55: favorite type of fruit pie?

blueberry! My family picks blueberries in the NC mountains once a year, so we are known for our family blueberry pies. They are delighful.

79: what was the last concert you saw?

Relient K! It was a last minute thing where I got off of work, and my friend had an extra ticket- it was super fun! It was the 10th Anniversary tour for their Mmhmm album, and it was my first time seeing them live, and I was with two lovely ladies I adore, so yeah. Awesome.

Hi Erin. Last night I had a dream in which Alice and Andrew had a two year old boy who looked like Chuckie Finster. When I woke up I thought that 1. I'm weirdo and somehow even though I know it it still manages to surprise me. 2. I really needed to reread your fic about Alice being pregnant. On a completely different note I just created a spotify account to be able to listen to your chirstmas advent playlist. It's really good.

Awwwww, they had a little Chuckie?! This is too much.

And I'm glad you're enjoying the music!! I have SO MUCH christmas music, literally over two days worth, so it's been fun to try to pull out some highlights!
