I’ll personally never understand people who don’t want to do nice things for their partners just because. Maybe it’s because personally it makes me feel so loved and appreciated when someone does something for me just because. But when my spouse is gone out of the house, doing something I know they weren’t expecting me to do becomes easier and I get more motivated, even if it’s tiring and I don’t really want to do it.
Like cooking dinner by myself, or doing a chore we’ve been putting off, or cleaning up in general. When they get home and are surprised and happy, it just brings me so much joy.
Funnily enough when they got home yesterday to me surprising them with dinner being done, even though the plan was to cook together once they were back, they told me they’d also gone and filled the car up with gas, which is one of my least favorite things to do lol 🥰
Fuck I just love them 😌 and making them happy makes me happy 😌
