Snickers once again had to go to the vet clinic. He had another ear infection. Only this time, it's behind his ear drum. The doc put him on medication (an anti-inflammatory and an anti-bactierial), and whilst I do not think it is E. cuniculi, since he hasn't lost appetite or had changes in his water intake and urine and seems otherwise fine other than a head tilt and possible pus in his ear, she said it may be that. In case it is that he'll be put on another medicine when we have his follow-up appointment.
In the meantime, my art commissions are open. Any proceeds will go into helping with Snickers if the needs arise. Lets hope he's good for his Baytril this time: last time I had to give him some he didn't look at me for a week!
Boomers sure are offended when they think you’re rewarding your dog for “doing nothing”
“Your rewarding for nothing?! You’re just giving treats and hoping for the best!”
If you think my Malinois is doing “nothing” by volunteering a chin rest with her back turned to multiple dogs barking & lunging at her that’s a you problem. My girl gets as many treats as she wants and in return I get a calm dog who volunteers for multiple injections & blood draws in a row with a happy tail and no restraints. If being calm under stress isn’t reward worthy, I’d hate to see how you with your little Yorkie would react to the alternative. Ugh
URGENT! Raising funds for my cat Silas' cardiologist appointment! He doesn't h… Hannah Forbes needs your support for Urgent Funds for Silas'
Hi, I know fundraisers on tumblr can be annoying, but I’m posting this here for one of my best friends. Silas is such a lovely boy and deserves to have what’s left of his life be comfortable and safe. This cat is such a loveable goofball. I love him.
Well I wanted to make a post about how much fun we had today... It’s the first time I took both dogs on a whole adventure together without Hubbins to help me (and I did it with a hurt shoulder!) We went to the car wash, gas station and then did a mile and a half sniffy walk. I kept them on short leashes bc the last time I tired to walk them together Taravali was trying to tackle Mandana the entire time. Now that she’s matured a little it went a lot better and Mandana was doing a good job teaching her how we should behave on these kinds of walks. Both dogs came home happy and Taravali even fell asleep sitting up lol

Nice walk with the doggos 🔻
She’s snoring sitting up 😂
But all that is overshadowed by an emergency vet visit. Hubbins & I were out in the yard talking and watching the dogs when all of a sudden Taravali started acting like she was choking on something. She wasn’t hacking & coughing but was trying to swallow something down that was stuck. Luckily she was able to breathe and even drink a little water but she was panicking and running around scared so after a couple minutes of observation (because I had been watching her and surely the only thing she could have gotten into was just some grass?) I had Hubbins throw her in the car crate and off I went. My vet clinic had just closed and the only emergency vet that was open was half an hour away. I couldn’t wait around to see if she’d get better because if she didn’t it would take too long to get help. Of course as soon as we got to the emergency vet she was a happy healthy puppy again. We went ahead and did an X-ray just in case she swallowed a stick or something but the X-ray looks good so we’re back at home cuddling.
Mandana definitely picked up on the vibes and probably recognized the smell of the ER vet since she was just there for her MRI. She & Hubbins were really happy to see Taravali was ok when she got home!

I appreciate those of y'all who helped us pay for my cat Pip's last vet visit. We ended up getting $200 from donations, which was very helpful and put a big dent in the total cost! Thank y'all SO much for that 💛
Unfortunately, though, Pip needs more testing done. The ultrasound showed that he has wall thickening in his colon and ileum, so now they want to do something called a GI panel as well as testing to check his thyroid. I don't have an estimate on that yet because I can't afford to pay ANY of it right now due to paying so much Pip's last 2 vet appointments and due to the fact that my wife and I's roommate has lost his job AGAIN 🥲 Additionally, I'm limited on how much money I'm allowed to make every month, and my wife's hours at work get cut every other week. They're trying to pick up extra shifts when they can, but they are one person, are killing their body doing that, and aren't getting any rest because of this.
SO, if anyone is willing to donate, even if it's just a dollar, I would greatly, greatly appreciate that and be so thankful for it. Also, PLEASE reblog this post whenever you see it and share it on other platforms if you want as well. Thank you in advance; I hope y'all have a great day 💚🩷

Sleepy Pip for y'all 🥰
Ari has a vet appointment because of bloody urine. Everyone send her some love she is a very anxious kitty
I made a post on twitter about it but I'm desperate for help so I'm also making a post on tumblr as well, info on the tweet.
(CW PET DEATH, PET LOSS, PET SICKNESS) tldr; my dog bean is suffering from the same disease that took my late dog zero who I sadly had to euthanise because I couldn't pay for his vet appointments + age and how advanced his tumors were. it's very early on for Bean so I want to do all in my hands to take care of him and his vet appointments to make sure he lives as long as he can. this dog is my family and all I have here. I'm desperate.
