I think the girl who plays Sophie is ethnically Jewish. So like there's a woman of color actress but her race isn't a part of the show really. She ends up being the one who plays different races of people because she's "ambiguous" and tbh while the show has one of my fave ot3s of all time I can def see why ud not wanna watch it cause it's p damn white. Like not just in the casting, but in just like... how the show is?? idk if that makes sense. also a fair amount of ableism.
Oh yeah also Chris Kane is white passing native and v open about it. But once again no mention of it in the show, except for that he wears braids in his hair sometimes which I think Kane said he does it because he's native. sorry for all the needless info.
