Nightmares
Every zone runner has nightmares, everyone has suffered and been scarred.
All the Fab Four see each other die in their dreams sometimes. They all stopped trying to hold back the tears when they awaken.
Party’s nightmare is being alone. It switches from being in a BLI cell to the middle of the difference, but they don’t notice. All they know in those dreams is no matter how much they run and shout and cry and look they can’t find anyone. There’s always no one.
Jet’s nightmare is that he goes blind. He can always still hear the talk and music, feel the sun and sand on his skin and smell the oil and fuel, he just can’t see. The nightmares come a lot more after he lost his eye.
Ghoul’s are always of fire. Being burned and surrounded by it, unable to breath and escape. Being caught in one of his own bombs is his worst nightmare, but he knows they are his best weapon. He never stops worrying.
Kobra’s is that he is forgotten and invisible. No one sees him, not even his sibling. Everyone just goes about their normal days in those nightmares, only he watches like a ghost, and where he would be needed he is replaced. He sometimes wonders if that’s what being dead is like.
The girl, despite being asleep, awakens alone where the four found her. She looks but never finds them. Sometimes Dr.D or cherri are around, but they haven’t heard of the Fab Four. In those nightmares it’s like they never existed.
