At Santiago Oaks Non Dot XC race. Dropping into Chutes. Great technical descent!
This race was recorded in February this year at Caspers Wilderness Park. It was race #2 of the Non Dot XC Series in Orange County California.
The start was awkward because we were instructed to stay left of the cones but the race leader had another strategy in mind.
On this course, we do 1 short lap and 3 long laps in the Elite Men category. The course is almost entirely fire-roads but that doesn't make it any less challenging. The climbs are very steep and you need to pick a good line not have to unclip. And the descents are crazy fast!
I had a great battle on course with Cole Sexton. He got the win in the Expert Men 35 and under category.

What an awesome Saturday thanks to @nondotadventures and @underdogrescueca ! Finished 3rd for the season in Non Dot Adventures! Finally stood on that podium then flew over to Barks, Bikes, and Brews at @lagunabeachbeercompany (try the giggles!) and won two Cycling kits, socks, gloves, gomacros bars, and womens XL Troy Lee shorts(I can use both restrooms now!)! This is living and life is gooooood!
