In order to create a non-frontal, casual/comfortable space that could cope with the demands of the undisciplined lectures and performances, we tried various arrangements. What’s important to us in the viewing direction of each seated person is a good view of one of one projection screen and the lecturers, as well as seeing a part of the rest of the audience.
In the final setting the audience is divided into 4 ranks, each facing a different direction. There are 3 podium islands reduced to the minimum of pedestals. The people in the room are able to always reposition themselves in relation to the different undisciplined lectures.
