I do not apologize if you followed me thinking I was a good & quality blog. I take pride in being trash.
Are there any guidelines for musings requests? I’m on mobile so I can’t see much ^^;
no problem! I decided I was going to revamp my FAQ into a general ‘guide’ page and cut down on some unnecessary fluff in there. so I’ll just copy-paste these guidelines from the new guidelines page for you:
all written work here is my own unless noted otherwise (will be tagged as “#not mine”). please do not copy, repost or redistribute elsewhere, thank you.
please don’t chat or roleplay on my posts. don’t edit them either. I’m fine with people mentioning / @ing someone in the post, but that’s it.
if you want me to post a copy of another musing I’ve already posted, but with different pronouns, just ask!
if you have a quote / musing / etc you want me to post for you, feel free to send it into my inbox and I will stylize + post it for you. if you didn’t come up with the quote, please specify the source as well. same goes for lyrics.
you can also request for me to go through a song, movie, etc to post musings / quotes from it.
if you don’t have something specific you want posted, but just general “topics” for me to creating musings based off of (like a specific scenario, i.e. “tragedy”, or a feeling, i.e. “sadness”), tell me and I can create musings to fit that ‘vibe’.
everyone is more than welcome to just send me questions or comments if you want to chat with someone, or you need advice. my inbox is always open.
Literally just listened to, “No One Will Save You Now” by the Aviators and I see that post. I almost shrieked with joy XD
Ahaha, glad to hear!
I’ve recently gotten into a lot of his music and it’s?? so damn good???I don’t know how he’s not more well-known or famous because his work is just 👌👌
The Bloodborne songs are definitely my favorites, with “No One Will Save You Now” probably topping all of ‘em. It’s just so damn haunting and beautiful.
(If anyone wants to listen to it, I linked it above!)(also a little tip, it sounds better to me at 1.5x or 2x speed)
turning off tumblr’s updated IM ‘online/offline’ feature
Whenever you’re logged in on your account, it’ll show a green dot next to your icon in the instant messaging list. ex:
Some of you people out there (like me) with anxiety problems might be panicking, or maybe you just like your privacy and don’t want people to be able to tell when you’re online every single time. Fortunately Tumblr did a good, and gives you the option to turn this feature off.
All you need to do is go to your account settings ( or go to http://www.tumblr.com/settings/account ), found here:
And turn off this option:
Now if you look, the green online dot is no longer there, but I’m still logged in!
Sidenote that sideblogs don’t have the ‘availability’ option, only the main blog does, so you don’t need to worry about going to the settings of all your sideblogs to change this.
However know that if you have the availability setting turned ON, all of the sideblogs attached to that blog will ALSO be labeled as ‘online’ whenever you are logged in as well.
What's a musing? I'm pretty new to tumblr and I've been seeing that term a lot with some quotes and words that I liked! Thanks so much too <3
Oh, well then welcome to Tumblr friend! Glad to have you here with us :DA “musing” could have a few interpretations, depending a bit on nuance.
The term ‘musing’ here applies specifically to ‘roleplay musings’ -- which include quotes (original and not), prose, lyrics and similar, stylistically written (like ‘text art’) to be reblogged for the variety of roleplay blogs here on Tumblr. They’re meant to reflect a muse’s (the character that the roleplay blog is portraying) thoughts, feelings, past, behavior... basically of relation to the character in some way.
‘Musing’ can also have a second meaning outside of roleplayer context, but still used in writing circles (just not for RP purposes). This is typically meant to reflect a person’s thoughts, written in prose or poetic form.
I hope this clears up any confusion? If you have any other questions feel free to let me know. :)
oh my god, yes do hellfire from disney pls!! i lov this song! <3 - not the other anon :D
Well then I’ll post a few of them as soon as they’re done instead of putting them in the queue, since more than one person wants them!
How about doing lines from 'in the dark of the night' from Anastasia? There's an awesome metal cover of that, too~
Sure thing! And I know, I’ve listened to all of those awesome Disney metal covers, if they’re by the same person we’re talking about. They’re amazing! (I like some of them even better than the original songs honestly.)
Will edit this post when they’re all done and in the queue.~
