NONNAS (2025), dir Stephen Chbosky
My dad put on this random Netflix movie called Nonnas and ngl it changed my brain chemistry. Idk if it’s my Jewish side, my big family side, or my fondness for old women but it’s like fulfilling my soul. It’s about like this Italian guy who lost his mom and tries to start a restaurant with nonnas and AUGH. You guys should watch it
And if I said old lady yuri??? AND enemies to lovers??? Hell yeah.
Side note and SPOLIER: this movie actually did have a character who used to be a nun and left because she was a lesbian and it was so beautifully done. The whole movie was beautiful. I cried like a bitch.
