Posted @withregram • @hivevibewraps It’s time for ...THE DISH ON BEEWAX! . Another great way to ditch the plastic and use beeswax wraps is for germinating seeds. I’ve got some great Chinese Okra seeds that need some scoring and germination before we can plant them in soil🌱 Traditionally a lot of people use wet disposable paper towels sealed in a plastic ziplock bag to germinate seeds. Over here at Hive Vibe we have replaced the disposable paper towel with a wet reusable non paper towel and the zip lock bag for a Beeswax Wrap. Check out our step by step photo for germinating seeds without any waste. . . 1: Score your seeds with a reusable scrubbie 2: Wet your non paper towel and place on your beeswax wrap 3: Place your seeds on the non paper towel and fold closed 4: Fold your beeswax wrap over top of your towel and place in a safe place . * check in 24 hr to see how your seeds are doing , re wet towel if needed and repeat * once your seeds have started to germinate plant in some nice warm soil 🌱 #hivevibewraps #beeswaxwraps #nonpapertowels #growyourownfood #supportlocal #ecofriendly #wastefree https://www.instagram.com/p/B_HxxEhjrFm/?igshid=gi7f4iis0l27
