Got sorta bored of writing so decided to sketch up the Mentally Broken Trio ™ portraits
Ah, and also no, Lament's not a user (cigs not counted), just is in constant migraine misery, something like that.

okay, but what if i just, jump in and squeak a bit to get em out of my systems
The King is Dead typical timeline,
but Draven actually tries to investigate into his father's death.
Tried to improvise the face stylisation a little bit this time... Although, to be fair, I do favor the upper half of this image more than the rest of it, somehow. Probably just some vibe issues. The imagery of ribs and butterflies just couldn't leave my mind for certain reason.
Apparently, 'tis the season of me reimagining and/or expanding my last year inktober's prompts, this time the victim is a succesful on its own "crown" prompt from day 3. Sure, the crown had to be exchanged for just as graceful mantle in this case, but it might be for the best just as well. That slight shift from sombre to aggressive just never gets boring, does it?
...Apparently, today I rolled a natural 20 for the Random Creative Tweak skill. There is literally no meaning, motivation, attempted art practice or anything else behind this. In the end, it just exists. Here. In the end.
I also like how this is actually the second image titled as "what" in my spring artworks' file folder. The first one was bloody Aaron Seagull.
A longing for the one who is looking for the wasteland
Let me stand on the shore and see what the tide may bring A little love — perhaps, A little love-
Decided to check if I'm still capable to draw backgrounds and chose this work from 2 years ago as a base. Tweaked the palette a bit cus if it isn't color picking that I improved most through these two years, then what?
And hey, is it just me, or this time Gears' figure is much more embedded into the background than before? Anyways, I consider this a successful redraw somewhat.
I've had a vision and now my voice hc for Simon Glass is Voice of the Paranoid from Slay the Princess cus that lil boi is so afraid and pathetic yet somehow his manifestation is so calming each time it happens. Which is, well, the main ingridient for Simon's own essence of existence, I think. It may make no sense, but considering I didn't have any specific headcanons for the lad before that, it's better than nothing.
Can't remember why this workfile was named as "comfort", but here it is, I guess.
This sketch have been bothering me for quite many months already, as some stuff did pile up back then and I didn't finish it right ahead. And after that, working with this exact prompt was... stinging, somewhat? Again, can't elaborate much on all the why-s.
And even so, I dug this file up today, added some messy colouring to it. And, honestly, maybe it looking as raw as it is is even better? Adds both to the pain and the comfort, I think.
on the side note — i am old
Today as of March 30th, I am a birthday kid and while I do not really like the occasion itself, it's sort of an accepted norm for the drawing folks with at least a hint of self-worth to actually do some tiny thing for the day?
Either case, thanks for being still here looking at my works every now and then, any words of support or anything else you consider worth it to be sent to my askbox is heavily appreciated.
If you weren't around for a while, you might consider checking my latest fic in the Quiet Days setting which I spent some time on, or the cover illustration that I've done for it. And you're just as well welcome to look at something else as well as at nothing at all. Come on, I'm not your job recruiter.
Now, take care. That tiramisu cake won't eat itself.
