I have many thoughts! None are good 🤷🏻 just to make sure I’m getting this right, uh
[SPOILERS DONT READ IF YOU HAVEN’T SEEN BSG]
-baltar lives and caprica six lives, and the versions of themselves they’ve been seeing all along were just them in the present day? Does that make baltar a cylon?
-Kara just poofs out of existence because that’s normal and fine. Cylons don’t go poof, so is she not a cylon? Is she literally some kind of supernatural being/“angel”/“harbinger of death”?
-most of the cylons didn’t go to earth, where’d they go? Did they die in the sun too? Why did Cavil shoot himself when he was so determined not to die for his entire arch-villain arc?
-what happened to the remaining final five? They just... we didn’t see them after the initial scouting party at all
-what kind of nonsense was the all along the watchtower motif, are we meant to think it’s an ancient folk tune that Hendrix somehow picked up or psychically intuited (part-cylon jimi Hendrix lol)? Or is it the other way around, it’s Hendrix’s song translated backwards through, what, baltar and caprica back to the original five or something?
-Bill Adama spends four years mostly appreciating his son and the two of them finally form a special bond, the only members of their family left alive, and then Bill decides... he never wants to see Lee again because he wants to be sad by himself and not sad with anyone else? Laura would not have been down for that shit first of all
-if caprica and baltar are running around manhattan in 2007, and baltar isn’t a secret cylon, does that mean they aren’t projections, they’re actual messengers from an actual deity? If they’re real and can float around and withstand time, then wouldn’t Kara be the same as them? Wouldn’t she be able to be around and take millennia to process everything rather than literally giving up the ghost?
-or was Kara Thrace just a delusion we all had?
