Её длина - 3 километра, а высота 150 метров(!). С каждым годом дюна растёт на 5 метров. А рядом находится деревня, которая постепенно засыпается песком. Кстати на счёт деревень. Во Франции есть Асоциация Красивых деревень. Звание красивой деревни дают за 3 главных критерия: 1) население не должно превышать 3000 жителей 2) места представляющие культурную ценность 3) сохранение в первозданном виде Вместо пластиковых окон - ставни, вместо рубероида - старинная черепица.

Когда попадаешь в Кито, то такое чувство что из Европы и не выезжал. А всё потому что город построили испанцы. Когда они прbшли в Эквадор то разрушили все индейские храмы. И теперь Кито называют самой крсивой столицей Южной Америки. Самое красивое здание в стране - Базилика де Львота Насиональ. Как ни странно на здании расположены пумы, дикобразы и тому подобное. Этот храм строится уже 200 лет и никак не построится, потому что есть легенда что если построится храм, то наступит конец света. Большинство населения Кито - индейцы кечуа, они совсем не похожи на нас с вами: мужчины в пончо, женщины в традиционных костюмах и шляпах. Но не смотря на всё это в Кито очень много нищих и бездомных. А также много карманников. Будьте осторожны на больших площадях.
