Do you have any self-care tips/things to do for when you are depressed and have no energy? Today I showered, took my meds and ate some comfort food, and now I'm just at a loss for what to do. I feel like I should be occupied with something so that I don't continue to spiral into feeling worse... Any ideas? I'm not sure what to do so I asked here. Thanks<3
I have a tag on my personal tumblr full of self care! I’m going to list some out.
Listen to some upbeat music, you dont have to dance but let it take over you! It’s always nice to jam out to some music that’s happy.
If you haven’t already, drink some water! I always forget to do this but I’m trying to get better at this.
If you have a family pet, feed them/pet them/ clean their littler box/ take them for a walk.
Get into some cozy pajamas before bed, wrap up with a soft blanket.
If you have access to it, eat something healthy or take vitamins. I tend to forget to do this when I feel down.
If you’re laundry is piling up, throw a load in. I always wear the same sweatshirt for several days if I’m in a slump.
Open your blinds and let some sunlight in.
Clean up your room if its starting to get messy.
