I am beyond happy that Ahyis.Toys made this scene after I reignited their love for tenyachi with my fic Confidence.
I can't believe it. I made the fic for Noodlegum and myself. I never expected anyone to read it.

(It's also crazy. They made Tendou a mermaid because of The Little Mermaid movie coming out and I had already made Tendou mermay fan art where Tendou says: "The little mermaid was based off me." Neither of us had any idea the other did this. Insane.)
Story time:
A few months ago I stumbled onto the ship TenYachi. At first I wasn't sure. I love both of the characters so much, they are in my top five. But, I had never thought of them in this context.
There are five stories with this pairing, two in Russian, one a translation of one of the Russian ones, and one called:
After Midnight by Noodlegum.
It's incomplete but I went for it anyways AND FELL IN LOVE. I read it several times and eventually decided to comment, thinking that maybe they would come back and finish it. It's happened before so I had hope.
Instead, I learned that the author had died.
I didn't know this person, but it hit me hard, and I felt like it wasn't right that their pairing was so rare. Barely any fics, minimal fan art, and pm zero representation in fandom. I had to do something, so I ended up writing my fic, and tenyachi became my favorite pairing. (I have so many WIPs for them rn 😂.)
Then I made this blog to rep them and other rarepairs. I'm working on content but it's slow going.
I am just so happy that they did this.
