Monday night is now Sri Pinang night, no matter how dreadful the weather is. It’s a throwback to my working days when I would call in to Sri Pinang after work at 8.45pm. Umm, I shouldn’t be dwelling on that as it’s all a wasted caurse. I haven’t tried the Curry Laksa for ages. It’s done Penang-style, spicy rempah with a hint of belacan and minimal santan. I requested a mix of beehoon and egg noodles, and the Laksa is served with taupok, chicken, taugeh, egg and curry leaf garnish.
