Writer Goal Ask List

💖 What is your primary writing goal for this year?

I don't have a hard goal set since I don't want to put excessive pressure on myself to meet some goal - that takes some of the fun out of it for me - but I want to keep working on new updates for my fics, and maybe even finish a few of them this year!

🍄 Are there any fandoms you've never written for but want to try?

Hm.... several, honestly. I've wanted to write for the Deadpool movies, since I'd love to try my hand at that self-aware fourth-wall-breaking humor. I'd love to, and plan to, write for the Witcher! And I had an idea a while back for Criminal Minds, and I think I'd have a blast with that one (especially with my knowledge in forensics)!

💥Is there a chapter, scene, or WIP you're most excited to write? Share a snippet or tell us about it!

I mean, I'm really excited about everything I have planned, since I think I've got some really powerful ideas in the works! Mostly I'm eager to continue with Heartstrings and get to all that deep angst in the middle of that, I'm excited to dive into the action-packed climax of Desert Song, and I'm looking forward to giving some more love to Terra, Gia, Spider, and my other new OCs who haven't gotten as much time in the limelight yet!

fanfic trope idea: arranged marriage meets accidental baby acquisition

Hm... by "accidental baby acquisition" I'm not sure whether you mean an accidental pregnancy, or some kind of Witcher-style adoption scenario, but I'm gonna take it as the second one because I don't like the accidental pregnancy trope at all. So we've got arranged marriage + surprise baby adoption...

I'm not sure I'd ever really write this, honestly. It just doesn't really fit the intersection of my interests, or the way I like to structure the relationships I write, so I'm not sure I'd really have fun with this one if I tried to write it.

But if I did write it, I think I'd probably go with either Rae/Warren Worthington (his rich background plays into the arranged marriage bit, and they already will have kids in their regular story so I wouldn't have as tough a time writing them as new parents) or Kestrel/Warren Burgess (not sure how the arranged marriage would play into it, but there's a fun changeling element I can bring into the surprise adoption thing)

Didn't mean to throw both of the Warrens into the mix, but that's just the way it shook out I guess XD

Pippin opening went fantastic honestly, I'm super tired now bc we did 4 shows in 3 days and it's a SUPER physical show (I have so many dances and stunts...) but the shows all went really well and I love being a part of this cast
