NOOKRONO Chronograph Taps Space Age Cool

Nooka's new collection is giving me some serious 60's Space Race nostalgia right now.

  Nooka is a New York-based design firm specializing in timepieces. Their latest project, the Nokrono, takes 60's space age instrumentation to heart. The time pieces feature bold faces and minimalist sensibilities and definitely look like something a test pilot might strap to himself to explore the coldness of space. The watches also have space age prices: the limited edition NOOKRONO Lux features 18 karat gold and costs $5,000.

The NOOKRONO: A Observe Inspired By The 1960′s Room Race

The final time we checked in with Nooka, the NYC timepiece+style brand was conceptually exploring inner area, connecting mind, physique, and design and style. They’ve since looked outward – far out into outer space – with timepiece styles inspired by the launch pads and analog era functions of the 1960′s space race (Cape Canaveral chic?), with four new constrained edition chronograph-type wrist watches: the NOOKRONO Multi, Steel, Evening, and Lux.

All four of the “techno-progressive” quartz chronograph styles will be really restricted editions (only 500 Multi and Steel watches, 250 Evening editions, and just 10 of the 18K gold Lux designs), producing every dialed model of functional style very collectible.

Specially striking and emphasizing the chronograph attributes is the Multi’s light blue and orange colorway, possibly only 2nd to the Lux model as an consideration grabber.
