On Kawara, One Million Years, Two Volumes
The first book, Past, is dedicated to "all those who have lived and died," and covers the years from 998,031 BC to 1969 AD. The second book, Future, is dedicated to "the last one," and begins with the year 1993 AD and ends with the year 1,001,992 AD. At the request of the artist, portions of the books have been read aloud in locations around the world. A recording of these readings was part of Kawara's installation at the Guggenheim.
When Neil and Andrew get their own place I feel like both of them will make little nooks for when they need alone time. Neil’s looks like a crow’s nest with all of his trinkets and softest Andrew hoodies. Andrew’s is over a vent and he has to fight the cats over it during winter. The amount of times Neil finds the three of them scrunched together over a tiny vent makes him smile.
Classic literature books bound together with twine and decorated with small pink flowers
Another nook.
What a cozy, comfy, mossy-looking forestcore bed nook! Should be very easy to DIY, at least if you're willing to sew a little. By unknown, found via Amy Sue Stirland on Pinterest.
A/B/O World Building: Omega Nesting Nooks
So, my headcanon for this is that houses traditionally had little nooks built in here or there, meant specifically for the household's omegas when the urge to nest took over or when they were in heat, or giving birth/new mothers.
Sometimes it could be a piece of furniture, or more like a closet.
Some would be more open if they were considered more communal; some would be more closed off if they were considered more personal/private
Alphas would traditionally have to ask permission before going in these spaces, as Omegas who are nesting can be very territorial
Sometimes omegas will choose to use their nooks as their regular full time bedroom, as the closed-in space makes them feel very safe.
Here are some pics from my Pinterest board (yes, I have a whole board of these)
