Not Again | Macy + OPEN

Macy had just started recovering from that day where she had passed out in the hallway. Only Sam knew about the incident, and she was happy for that. One thing she hated was that her hearing loss pushed her to a point where it made her body feel weak. But she wasn’t ashamed of it. Her hearing aids had been adjusted, but she was still struggling and it felt easier just to take them out. That wouldn’t make a difference anyway.

She was heading out of her room when she suddenly started to have another round of dizziness. This time leaning against the wall just in time and everything just started to blur in and out while she felt chills against her body. The weather was warming up, she had no idea why she was suddenly feeling cold and why she was suddenly feeling so strange.

The girl slunk against the wall, holding her head and tried not to cry. She didn’t want anyone to see her crying. She had cried in front of Sam and hated that. Her head hurt too much to fight it, and her ears were ringing, a low, dull, annoying roar, and it just made her all the more dizzy.

General Notes: Brandon visits Gabby upstairs, but the two are surprised by what they are told. 

Brandon wanted to do anything but stay in his room. Whenever he stayed in the same place for too long, he swore that he was going to go crazy. He hated it: he got fidgety, restless, and angry. Those were the reasons he was almost always up and about; and seeing that he was stuck in the house for who knows how long, he would need to figure out how to spend his time until they’re allowed out. 

When Gabby gave him the green light to go visit her up in the Medical Wing, he sprang out of bed and hurried up, he didn’t even bother to change his clothes, he was sure that it didn’t matter. On top of that, he didn’t want to waste any time. Oddly enough, she was the only person he seemed to care enough about to not want to keep waiting. He didn’t dwell on that thought, just as he always seemed to do. 

Thankfully, the receptionist in at the front desk seemed to not care when Brandon checked to see if it was okay to see Gabby. He hurried past the desk and found the room she was in. “Hey there.”
