Nope-tale Nightmare and Dream.
Just some stuff I was working on. It's kinda hard to explain the AU. Let's just say it's like a multiversal horrortale except its hella dark like everywhere and like 90% of people aren't aloud in the damn castle.
Anyway, Nightmare is a wanderer. He knows the underground like the back of his hand and has almost died plenty of times. He trys to guide any normal people to the castle as it, besides the ruins, is the only safe space. He seems pretty calm but the moment his lantern goes off he freaks. Who knows what he looks like in the dark.
Dream is a gard for the castle. Years of living in the underground and seeing the terrors has made him jumpy and hostile towards anyone he doesn't know. He has a short temper but has good intentions. When he finally calms down he's fairly nice and even innocent.
