and brulee's head tumor has opened up. this means it's a zymbal's gland tumor which means our aim now is quality of life. she turned three years old today. I know that's a good age for a rat but that doesn't make anything much easier. apparently the most common cause with this for low quality of life is if they can no longer use their jaw properly so their teeth get overgrown and they can't eat solid foods. her jaw is already a tiny bit offset from it. as of yesterday she could still brux and eat hard food but the things growing fast. hers is bigger than any I've seen in photos.
