the current cabinet of the finnish parliament is again for like the tenth time in the middle of a racism scandal and it has received quite a bit of international attention and let me just say this country is the perfect example of how the fiscally conservative but socially liberal moderate right is willing to accept the beliefs of the alt-right to accomplish their greedy economic goals. the prime minister has time and time again done only symbolic gestures to condemn the alt-right party's actions, and while I, perhaps naively, believe he actually is embarrassed when this happens, I cannot feel bad for him or his political allies when all they stand for is shareholders and stamping down the poor and the less fortunate. this is not the happiest country on earth but a duplicituous theatre where politicians gourmandise on hatred and greed while boasting how equal we are. it's all make-believe.

ever since I started an "everything journal" I've felt a lot better about myself, and my therapist was goddamn exhilarated when I showed her my lists of favourite things and vision boards for the future. it's such a good way to show appreciation for yourself and, as my therapist said, "enforcing" your self-image. so I really recommend starting a journal. you also get to craft while working on it

#you can also justify buying a lot of stickers. it's for the journal. the mental health journal #nor's rambles #i don't like to keep a diary where i write about my thoughts etc but i do like to make lists of my fave movies
