"you're totally right — not lame at all!" of course nora will agree for the sake of newfound companionship. and whether or not mari wants to agree with her fully or assume it's sarcasm will be entirely up to her! she's just relieved that none of this felt too awkward yet; in fact, with them laughing how they are now should only mean well. "really? no, i don't believe that.... you're probably smart and clever with your quips all the time. unless you have a moment of sheer stupidity you'd like to share?"

"no, no — i've already decided that it was worth a laugh and nothing more," nora reassures with a tiny wave of her hand, head shaking as she couldn't help but giggle even more. how she's suddenly reverted back to a giggling school girl she doesn't know but it's certain that nerves primarily drive it. thank goodness they were sitting on opposite ends of the table — her hands were starting to clam up a bit. "um, nope! this is the first time. i don't generally do new things so decided to go all in. how about you?"

"i have no doubts! definitely keep them coming," for all of them were a lovely break from the norm. with every bout of laughter spilt, the more relaxed she felt. knows not to get too relaxed though, just in case she slips up and says something completely out of pocket. "i... can i be honest?" it's the best policy, certainly, but she looks down briefly and fidgets with fingers at her lap before looking back up to meet london's gaze. "not really. i planned on coming just to say that i did so i don't feel too bad about rejecting the next one but... now it's not feeling so bad. a-and you?"
