Nora read the plate describing the history of the Amish people, describing the role of Jakob Ammann. Or as they had spelled it, Amann. Supposedly, she understood the confusion of whoever had written it, at Amish was written with one M, and surely, not a lot of actual Amish visitors probably stopped by to spellcheck all the museum’s writing.
She sighed loudly too herself, shaking her head as she looked at the dolls dressed up in her family’s clothing. “Amann...” They seemed to have gotten most of the element right, yet it was weird to see her life on a display like this. It sent a chill down her spine, compared to other historic parts of the museum, talking about ancient Roman times and the ancient Greek. Seeing the tools and their costumes displayed in front of her was fascinating when it was a culture far from hers.
