1937-- omg that's kinda hard, there's a LOT of movies I like from that year. gonna cheat and go with 3: ANGEL; STELLA DALLAS; and STAGE DOOR

1943-- I WALKED WITH A ZOMBIE. fascinating work in terms of gender and colonialism, also stunning photography.

1963-- CHARADE. possibly the most fun I ever had with a movie!

currently watching: twin peaks! which is a rare event for me cause i almost never watch tv series and when i do they're usually animated (btw i also watched the fionna & cake adventure time miniseries recently 💞), but i really want to watch the fire walk with me film so i decided to do things the right way and watch the show first lol and i don't regret it :)

abelia, nutmeg, aloe vera

abelia; i don't have one that i *always* wear, though i'd love to find a vintage signet ring for my pinky. one i can never part with, though, would be my grandmother's ring that she got from her grandfather (my great-great grandfather) that was made out of one of his diamond cuff links. the cuff link was from the turn of the century and turned into a ring in the 1950s, then she gave it to me in the 2000s. it's so cool to me and one of my most prized possessions.

nutmeg (fun fact, one time i accidentally poisoned myself by eating too much nutmeg): i actually moved the position of my bed yesterday and took a picture of it, and though it's not a picture of all my room decor and furniture i think it gets the point across...

aloe vera: i don't know how mundane this is but i would really like to go on some lovely holidays with a nice group of friends, i feel like i don't really do/have either of those things right now

instead of naming the same films i always do, i decided to share some of my favorite horror films from the 30s to the 50s.
