P.S. We should remember that Europe’s fossil fuel resources are very scarce and far between..! Wind now meets 15% of the EU’s power demand on average and much more in many countries: Denmark 48%; Ireland 33%; Portugal 27%; Germany 26%; Spain 21%. Without power generated by renewables, electricity prices would be much, much higher in Europe!
