This is where we are at with the nordic dagger! Aside from tidying up some spots and battle damage, all that's left is the pommel which is currently a slap o' curin' clay.

I've been asked a handful of times if I'll be making casts or completed kits of these daggers and selling them. Honestly I would love to, but the price of starting that up is a little too steep right now. But I may in the future! The idea is there! Keep a look out I suppose. Also pushing my insta a lot for more regular updates and progress shots!

I'm bad at keeping up WIP posts here. If anyone is curious to follow my processes, I am a lot more active on instagram @ Bunnehhood.

That being said, two daggers in progress, one nearing completion and the second just taking form.

That's a wrap(!)

It's hard to find the right faux fur when length of hair, thickness, and the thickness of the netting its sewn to all have to be very, very precise. I sifted through a lot of swatches, but nothing worked. The fur that was perfect had too thick a netting and would swallow the pommel. I ended up brushing out bundles of yarn and using those bundles for the fur detailing. It works for now, but would be more effective had I picked up yarn with more mixed colors or mixed my own.

The leather wrap and yarn are not glued on. It's all held together with tension and can be taken apart if I ever need to make adjustments. I avoid glue when I can if it makes sense.
