Peace everyone. SO I got through week 1. I was not good with my food regime but I was proud that I worked out everyday!
Remember my 2017 resolution... GET IN SHAPE!
This week eating wasn’t good. I gotta stay away from corner stores. They got all the crack snacks: tasty cakes, chips, juice. NO MORE. But, i was 90% vegetarian this week and my holiday food baby definitely went a way (i.e, I went #2 everyday)
However, working out went pretty good. It was hard starting. Shout out to Dailyburn.com and Fitnessblender.com for the yoga and workout routines. the highlight of my week was busting out 600 martial arts push ups on Thursday beating the two young men who were doing them with me (both young men under 23) #showingoff.
During my Friday afternoon workout, I realized my willpower and discipline increased. Working out is getting easier each day. I just keep pushing myself through difficult workout routines thinking positive and visualizing my goals.
So here are my goals:
1. Eat vegan -I ate meat, cheese, eggs, whipped cream and had milk in my latte. I did not do well with this goal AT ALL but I seen progress still thus I KNOW when I do eat #vegan, it will be even better results.
2. Work out 5 times a week - Monday I did my workout at home. But I did my Wednesday on Thursday and the Friday workout on Sunday because I did not manage my time well. However, I’m proud I got those days. Then on Tuesday and Thursday, I had martial arts. It went great but I realize I must have more self-control and patience because I am stagnant with my progress.
3. Morning Yoga EVERYDAY for 15+ minutes- I only missed ONE day of Yoga, Saturday. I did wake up early to meet my friends for our creative writing circle (they stood me up). But all my other days went great!
4. Meditation, Prayer and Affirmations - I am proud to say I have not missed one day of meditation or prayer. This will be most necessary for my first few weeks back to work. WINTER BREAK IS OVER :-(. I love Louise Hay Affirmations. I play her in the morning and repeat after her as I make my morning tea.
5. Post once a week- Done!
6. Journal EVERY night - I journaled every day but not at night time. I will definitely be on this with this week
7. HAVE FUN - I had a great time with friends this week. I reconnected with some dope people in my last week of break. But the most fun I had was working out and meditating with my self. Visualizing a bright future ahead!
OK! Thank you for reading. I gotta go to sleep it’s WAY pass my bedtime. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK! Let’s Get fit!
