How big of snake discourse is it on whether one should call it the 'normal' morph vs 'classic' morph?
I don't think it's a big deal. I'm not aware if there's any discourse about it, at least. I call them Classics because I like the way it sounds, no other reason. Nobody's ever called me on it, and if I see somebody refer to them as 'normal' or even 'wild type' I don't make any effort to sway them. All three terms are interchangeable within groups as far as I know.
But it's worth mentioning that I'm not on FB or IG so the answer might be very different if you ask someone who's active in those communities!
This is the face of rage. This tiny corn snake, the last unsold male from my first clutch, hates me. He was born hating me. Today I gave him fresh water, cleaned his bedding, and gave him a new hide to sleep in. He bit me like twenty times, bit my sleeves and my hands and even my boob. He tried hard to kill and swallow my thumb. It was like being assaulted by the angriest, most hateful shoelace in the world with scratchy velcro where the aglet should be.
I hope he gets sold before I fall in love with him.
