40) Night Vale is all in Cecil’s head, explaining why no matter what happens he always seems to be relatively unscathed. This is also why he is aware of so many things going on in the town.

47) The Condos are a mental hospital. Carlos, the Interns, Carlos’ team and The Man In The Tan Jacket are doctors. Pamela Winchell, Steve Carlsberg, and Kevin are inmates.Cecil is the PA announcer. The ‘Radio’ is Cecil going over what the inmates said.

56) All of Night Vale is a hallucination. Not Cecil’s. Carlos’s.

Everything on the radio show is exaggerated. Very few people die but many are injured by the weird happenings (which aren't that bad).
