[ Actual Human Beings ] - normalhumandad
More populated than the fields and less gray and smoggy than the city, the suburbs were decidedly Chell’s favorite place to be. She had spent a total of four days outside thusfar, searching for humans and food and the greenest grass available.
So far almost none of the humans had wanted to be near her, which was unfortunate. Some of the kids were happy to say hello and give her hugs until their parents dragged them away. Dogs barked at her from behind fences and she growled back.
Sweaty, bored, and happy with her choice of location, she crawled over the nearest white picket fence and took in her surroundings. These people had a little flower patch, how cute.
Surely the owners of the house wouldn’t mind. Outside was hers, after all. Best case scenario, they find her and she would introduce herself and make some friends. Worst case scenario, they stay in their house and avoid her like the others, right?
Chell stifled a yawn and padded around for the softest part of the ground. The moment it was found, she curled up and fell asleep.
