Claus blinked once, then twice completely and utterly shellshocked from what had just happened. He tried to process the scene, play it over in his mind in an attempt to gather his thoughts together again.
He’d been out in the forest (which wasn’t unusual) and had run into a group of chimera that were...less than friendly to say the least (once again not anything new), but as he backed up and tried to figure out what the best course action was, as he debated between fighting and running, a blast of fire sent the entire group of chimera running (now that was different).
Of course Claus had been expecting to see his brother, or maybe Kumatora, but...no, the one who stood nearby was a girl he’d never seen before in his life.
“....did...you just use PSI..?”
He finally managed to ask.
