First of all I have to say I miss Benni in the National Team SO MUCH. And I’m still waiting for him to either come back to Juve or for Schalke to give him the respect he deserves.

As a defending duo, they’re amazing, incredible, iconic, fantastic. I love him. But I love them just as much off the pitch. You can tell that they’re great mates and it’s so lovely to see.

Ronaldo at Juve… I made a bit of a ranty post about this before he was announced, some of those thoughts still stand. Do I think we need him? No not really, I felt that we had a good enough squad before he arrived. Honestly I think Juve have only bought him for marketing sake and so they can win the Champions League.

It definitely hasn’t been hard to see the increase in interest in the club since Juve announced his signing. Which bugs me a lot because it’s like people are suddenly realising that Juve is a big club now Ronaldo’s there when they’ve been a big club already for years. 

Don’t get me wrong I think Ronaldo is a really good player, and I think him playing for us is going to have a lot of competitive benefits. I’m just concerned that he’s going to carry on like he’s bigger than the jersey (although, I may get proved completely wrong, which I’m happy to be), which if it happens is going to hinder Juve far much more than the amount of commercial revenue he’s going to bring.
