Going on a third date with this girl I've started dating/chatting with this weekend. This is pretty exciting for many reasons. One is that I have never gone on a third date with anyone I've met online ever. I usually cut it off at two. (I mean, there was one about four years ago now that I dated for 9 months, but we didn't really go on more than two dates. We just sort of started "hanging out" after that.) Another is that it shows she seems to be liking me as well, which is good for me. Another is that even though I have no idea what my actual feelings for her are, I'm enjoying the process of dating her right now, and I can't really go wrong with that. However, one thing I SUPER HATE is that people hear third date and automatically assume sex will be had. There will be no sex. I like to take things slow, and there's nothing wrong with that. I wish people would stop pushing "normative" stereotypes on my dating life... Both of us are enjoying taking it slow, so chill. *sigh*
