Shortly after the destruction of the second #deathstar a #ywing pilot by the name of #norrawexley go home to get her son joined by a #bountyhunter and former #Imperialofficer they set out to dismantle the Imperial presents on the planet of #Akiva. Honestly I loved the story there wasn't a bunch of familiar characters getting stuck in impossible situations and somehow winning by the skin of there teeth. I like the strong female characters these new #disney stories are making. Tho the #lgbt characters seem forced and unnatural. There are a total of 3 known #gay people in this book #SinjirRathVelus a former #Imperialloyaltyofficer a Norra's sister's (a married #lesbian couple one being Norra's biological sister and the other her wife). Norra's sisters were nothing better than plot devices and could have been replaced by pretty much anything but Sinjir as a main character was just odd. It's like take a round peg and fitting it in a square hole. Yeah it will fit but is that the right shape?đŸ¤” No. I'm not saying it was a bad story just u felt that he was written by someone who forgot from time to time that he was gay. Tho the boyfriend later kinda over does it with the gayness (I'm assuming the writers response to đŸ‘†similar comments). Over all not a bad adventure. You learn about what happened to #AdmiralRaeSloane (loved her hope to see more of her in episode 8). Tho #grandadmiralthrawn is only mentioned in passing and I missed it the first 2 times a listened to it from #audible. (consumer comments if you decide to get a free trial get a book worth more than $16. Audible charges about that a month for a subscription). Don't worry I didn't spoil all of it there are animals in this #book that will make your skin crawl and much more.
