Fletcher Steele designed the gardens at Rolling Ridge, North Andover Massachusetts. 1916-22 The summer house of Ethan Allen from New York. Semi preserved as a Methodist Church retreat. These steps and fountain were 20 years before the most famous of Steele’s gardens, Naumkeag in Stockbridge Massachusetts.

Multiple homes explosions in Andover, Lawrence, and North Andover, MA. Electricity and Gas have been turned off in the area. Four exits on 495 are closed as well as several T-Stations. If you’re waiting for someone to come home, this is the reason why. If you smell gas, leave your home immediately. Stay safe everyone.

State of emergency has been declared in Massachusetts. Apparently Columbia Gas was not responding the way the mayor had hoped they would, and so he declared a state of emergency so he could call in another company named Eversource and get things moving.

I must say that makes me feel actually safer because maybe instead of cutting corners things will actually be done right and we’ll be safer

Gas explosions, fires reported in Massachusetts cities

Nearly 40 homes and businesses in three Massachusetts towns on Thursday suffered explosions or fires that may have resulted from an issue with gas service, officials said.

Latest news says it’s actually 70 buildings.
