Finally took a trip to the Imperial Dunes. Go at high noon for a disorienting experience. It's really hard to tell if the dune in front of you is a giant hill down or a gradual decline. Go when the sun is lower for nice photos. I used a blue filter here for rich values in the sand and a blown-out sky. #northalgodonesdunes #imperialsanddunes (at Imperial Sand Dunes)
