So .. the power came on yesterday at 3:30pm and then promptly blinked out at 11:05pm!! Powergrid said it will be back on at 12:45am - it wasn’t! The next morning Powergrid said sometime before 10pm. This almost did for me - I can tell you!! However the Powergrid men turned up and upon asking told us the lights would go on today - as soon as they fixed an electric pole in front of our house that had burst into flames 🔥 during the night!!! And … 11:30 the power came on and so far is holding! So … all in all 7 days without power! One of the worst weeks of my life 😱 hopefully alls well that ends well and the workshop will go ahead Sunday!
