norulesnobras.tumblr.comyou seriously have me in tears my nose is the thing on my face that i hate the most, i've called people about getting it redone with surgery and the fact that you just said i have a cute nose i am really crying thank you so much you have no idea
Awwwwww! *hugshugshugs* Now I’m crying, too! Darn emotions and stuff... *sniffle* But, dear, lemme tell you something... I’m super, super self-conscious about my nose, too. It’s way too big for my tiny face and I’ve always, always hated it. I looked into surgery, too, and thought about what I could do to have a more “normal” look, something that, well, I genuinely believed I would be happy with. But, here’s the thing... It’s human nature to find flaws within ourselves. Even if we change one thing, we’re just gonna find something else to be unhappy with. And, the truth of the matter is that, more often than not, people see us as beautiful--even if we never even know it. What I said is absolutely true--you are very beautiful and adorable and I really do think you have a super cute nose! It fits your face perfectly and it just looks very... well, how do I put this? It looks very you! You are perfect the way you are. <3 And one of the hardest, hardest things to learn in this life is to learn how to love yourself. It’s absolutely not easy. We are our own worst critics. We see ourselves every single day. We see ourselves more than we see anyone else. So we have the time to stop and examine every single thing that we don’t think is “perfect” but, here’s the thing: no one’s perfect. No one has a perfect face, no one is free from imperfections. But, here’s a thought that was hard for me to grasp (and I still struggle with from time to time): it is our imperfections that make us perfect. Every one of us is unique and beautiful in our own way. Someone may hate the fact that they have freckles. Every day they look in the mirror and just see the freckles--that’s what they focus on. But when someone sees that person walking down the street, they think their freckles are beautiful--like little kisses from the sun and they shine on that person’s face and make them glow. To someone else, those freckles are beautiful. And maybe that person wishes they had freckles themselves because every cute person they’ve seen in their life has had freckles. Same thing goes for you and I with our noses. = ) I think you have a perfect nose! But it’s hard to see that for ourselves when we see something every single day and learn to see it in a negative light. It’s hard to see ourselves the way that other people see us. That’s the reason I wanted to do this “everyone is beautiful” today. Because we don’t always know how other people view us... Sometimes we need a little bit of a helping hand to see how beautiful we truly are. ^__^
