Mostly Fire Emblem stuff, some Frozen stuff too. And the odd thing from my other interests every now and then. Maybe I'll post some personal drawing or photos, too. I did go to school for those things after all. Cover photo is mine.
This whole time, my preferred story if things HAD to go the way of Celine actually being responsible for Miyeongās death, I wanted it to go more or less like this (and I am SO happy how close I got)
They may choose to delve into this in the sequel, and it could be a good source of conflict. To have Celine, who fucked up. Like really fucked up. But her love for Rumi is undeniable, even with her reservations about the patterns. (And god, Rumi fully demoned-out taking swings at Celine and Celine not fighting back despite the threat because the threat is RUMI. I need that scene properly animated. Like NOW)
Celine: Six. Her energyās finally waning a little but she still finds new ways to get into mischief. The other day she got stuck in a tree.
Assistant: Chasing a bird?
Celine: No I had left the back door open for a moment and she bolted. Started climbing immediately. Although once she realized her mistake she cried and cried until I climbed up there myself to get her down.
Executive: Ok this is getting us nowhere. Is Rumi your daughter or your cat?
Celine, offended: How could you ask me that? *storms off*
Zoey, posting a selfie of the three of them in their Wife Line jerseys, plus Celine in her vintage Team Canada jersey, back in Montreal, the stage where the Victoire had their victory celebration in the background and a sea of fans behind them: The loss last night was tough, but there is still plenty to celebrate!
Rumi, adding: Words cannot express how happy I am to see so many people celebrating womenās hockey!
Mira: This is one hockey team Iām definitely invested in!
Fan: Ah! I love how Huntr/x just randomly supports the Victoire! Take that everyone else!
Other Fan: So when do you think the Victoire x Huntr/x collab will drop?
Fan: Hang on⦠Didnāt I just see you guys at a press thing in Korea yesterday? Howād you get to Montreal so fast?
Zoey: āØM A G I C⨠(Also no sleep we are very jet lagged)
Ok KPDH fandom, I got another one, but you're gonna need to stick with me on this cause it might be a bit confusing.
So, about a week post canon, Mira is angry. She's angry at herself for raising her weapon at Rumi. She's angry at Rumi for lying for so long. She's angry at Zoey for raising her own weapon, even though she did the same. She's angry at Celine for. . . well for a lot of reasons. And she wants, no, needs a way to vent that anger.
But who can she direct that anger towards? Certainly not her girls. Definitely not Bobby. Most assuredly not the fans. That leaves just one person. Celine. So she sets off for Celineās place, intent on venting her anger.
Now, I have made it clear in multiple posts that I do not believe that Celine was in anywhere near a good headspace immediately following the events of the movie. Maybe she sends a quick text to verify that Rumi is alive but beyond that, she is spiraling. And then Mira shows up at her door.
Of course, Celine can tell that Mira is angry. And she fully expects and even accepts the verbal tirade that Mira is surely about to go on. She wants someone to yell at her, to tell her all the ways she fucked up, to give her something to latch onto so she can internalize it and work on improving herself. So she lets Mira in.
Only, Mira doesn't yell. She doesn't even speak. She walks into the house, looks Celine dead in the eyes, cocks back, and swings. And instantly, the mood shifts.
See, while Celine may be willing to be yelled at, she did not volunteer to be Miraās personal punching bag. So she dodges, Mira throws another punch, and the fight is on.
At first, Celine is playing mostly defense. She won't be a punching bag, but she also doesn't want to actually fight Mira. Unfortunately, this only serves to make Mira even more angry, until Celine eventually relents and actually throws a punch, and she sees that anger crack just a bit, causing something in her head to click.
Mira needs this to be a fight. She needs this to be something she can actually feel. She needs Celine to actually hit back. So she does.
(It should be noted that during the defensive portion of the fight, Celine couldn't help but fall back into mentor mode, giving pointers to help Mira fight better, which only served to make Mira more angry)
Truthfully, I'm not sure how this gets resolved. I find the idea of Mira venting her anger by fighting to be interesting. I think the idea of Celine actually fighting back to be intriguing. And I think the idea of both of them leaving this encounter at least marginally better than they were when they entered it simply through the act of mutual violence to be incredibly entertaining.
I don't know. Maybe someone who's better at character study could do something with this.
I could totally see this ending with the two of them on the front porch, both completely beat up and bandaged (both taking the time to silently patch each other up post-fight), and now theyāre just sharing a drink. Still in silence. But the silence speaks louder than any words.
Rumi, posting: Weāve been kind of quiet lately and I can assure you weāre still very closely following hockey. This is just the farthest the Canadiens have gotten in years and weāre locked in. Focused. And above all, we donāt want to jinx anything
Fan: I didnāt think it was that serious
Rumi: I didnāt think so either, but the other night Celine threw out a whole bottle of soju because we had been drinking it when the Habs lost and now itās unlucky
Zoey: Aaaand now weāre not allowed to eat popcorn for the rest of the playoffs
Mira: Who knew that the first food restriction Celine ever imposed on us would have nothing to do with the impossible standards in our industry and everything to do with a hockey team from North America
the physical reaction im having to the stress is something most people would consult a doctor about
but a doctor would tell me to stop watching the playoffs in order to help and i need to see my team
Ugh I know. My heart canāt take much more of this. Itās been like this all playoffs for Montreal. There is no relaxing. All pressure all the time š¬
