NorvisJr. Interview - Vulgar Colors

Is 2016 really here?! My nostalgic mentality still resonates in the days when my alarm clock awoke me to Ja Rule’s Song Cry in middle school, and when I “started” EsPy Records. I assigned titles and assignments to 6th, 7th and 8th graders when hip hop, rap and R&B (Pink was totally R&B then) still had the rich and genuine components to pump out hot fire on the radio. From getting dressed to epic music videos that no longer exist to learning how to apply make up to N.E.R.D.’s ‘In Search Of...’, the millennial kids had it good man. Talk about goodie mobbing..? I feel for the youth out here digging for what’s real in the music industry. It’s how my customized tagline goes: Forever Faithful to the Underground. 

Little did I know while I was mandating responsibilities to my fellow classmates that I was setting myself up to literally work with cats in the industry from coast to coast. You truly do manifest your thoughts so be alarmed with your well and evil wishes upon yourself and surroundings. I’m just a southern belle with grungy edges scraping paint up and down the streets of Brooklyn, New York. I knew when I was 11 I wanted to wreckshop in Bedstuy. Here I am. I’ve arrived. Ive been risen. 

I had the opportunity and privilege to sit down and get an interview in with crazy producer and vocalist @norvisjunior before he moved to the west coast. Soupa from hip hop sensational group Green Street chimed in by capturing the magic (thank you bredren) so here you have it -- Check the rhyme.
