The Norwegian broadcasting channel (NRK) has a radio program where prison inmates talks about their life behind the bars - the inmates themselves are reporters and decide the content of the program Røverradioen (the robber radio)

In today’s episode they’re talking about the fact that the current government is cutting in the prison budget, which in turn has forced prisons to cut in certain food types (porridge and crispbread). And their first comment was ‘guys out there, please smuggle some porridge and crispbread to us next time you’re here’ 😂

On the serious side, I understand their frustration bc the lack of food causes them to have a fouler mood which in turn will make them behave worse which in turn will make the road to actual rehabilition way more difficult

But that’s what you get with a right wing government
