Can't wait to share the first episode of NOS4A2 in Austin with @jami_obrien and @ZacharyQuinto. It's really good. Oh, and hey, seen a bunch of footage from LOCKE & KEY. So excited. The whole team is doing such amazing things.

Couldn’t be bothered to screenshot this but exciting! I’m looking forward to watching this but I can’t tell if I’m going to like it or think it’s really dumb!

I'm traveling to Spain today. I'm not sure how often I'll be able to get online during my trip, but I'll be back again next weekend. :D

You know -- it kind of bothers me that they made Vic screw Craig in show. Nothing against Craig as a character , but creating this " must be pure " scenario that wasn't exactly an issue among book is a tad too much in left field. When her book version really had no interest in doing the horizontal tango, not seriously anyways. That the only reason she had condoms in the closet was because she ended up playing a joke in class by using one as a balloon whilst her mother was the one to accuse her whoring around. Though Charlie does have an old fashioned way of thinking when considering relationship status, he isn’t as strict as they tried to make him out to be. This is where a lot of people tend to mislabel him too. I do however see where they were trying to take it, vampiric cliche on virgin blood and all -- it just wasn’t executed in that direction enough and eventually became misleading.

There is also a part in the Wraith graphic novel that it mentions he can turn adults if they weren’t tainted. Or upheld the spirit of childlike qualities -- in other words; innocence. Which could then perhaps interpret that sexual endeavors eradicate that innocence. ( Which would also shine a little more light on Charlie’s own childhood traumas and how he notes to mention his innocence was stolen. ) Again having his own scars dictate the outcome of the present/future.  A lot of people weren’t taking those hints because they had become too subtle and far spread. However, it wasn’t elaborated on if that was the only way either. Only that it had been his speculation of the power given to him.

It also kind of fucks up the plot on Wayne being Lou's. I'm debating on heavily leaning more toward book with increments of show during that showdown of theirs at Gunbarrel in particular anyways. I won't exile Craig out of the picture completely, but things would have played out a bit differently in my AU blend.

All the flaws and contradictions are more apparent since I'm re-watching and re-reading back to back with one another. I'm sure I've made mention of them before, or at least partially.

Still rubbing me the wrong way, I guess. Especially now that they're fresh on my mind again. So here I am, bringing up that sore topic.

I try to blend the book(s) and show seamlessly, but it doesn't always end up clean. I can't believe I also missed a lot of AU opportunities that I could have brought into the fold already.

Am I angry with myself ? A lil.. Allowed some things to muddle and need to eventually straighten it up within plots already ongoing. I'll write out my headcanon AU book/show blend later on to better conjoin them all for future installments.
