Dont Tell People “Many Places are Hiring”
Though that statement is accurate, the life of one who is unemployed searching for work is far more intense than it seems on the surface..
I, Healing Heyoka - Am a mother first.
I cannot accept just “any” job as I have to work between 8am-5pm to pick up my child from daycare. If the job does not meet daycare hours, I cannot accept it.
I, Healing Heyoka - Cannot work for under $16
Yeah, any job is better than no job some may say, yet my cost of living right now is far more expensive than what minimum wage wants us all to settle for in society.
It is important to me that I work somewhere that with learned discipline, will allow me to comfortably pay my bills, save and spend.
I, Healing Heyoka - Cannot settle for a “turn over” job
You know, those jobs you accept on a whim and realize you wont a last another week after the first day...those jobs.
I desire employment that I can build a future with, a job where I can at least experience some comfort for 2 or more years.
My longest job was at the amazon warehouse for almost 2 years - not cool.
I, Healing Heyoka - Will not settle for a job that's not of interest to me
Working somewhere I actually enjoy being is important to me. We have all had those days where we cant even bring ourselves to get out of bed in the morning & I want to experience the opposite.
A job where I wake up excited to start the day and somehow make a difference within my working network.
A job where my value and worth is continuously recognized and brings me in everyday ready to be a change in this world.
I am manifesting blessings through this post as I am actively seeking for employment, not only to “have a job” but to bring some comfort, routine and discipline into my life.
Though getting a job will not solve all of my current life problems, getting the right job will help me regain my financial independence and control over my life.
Lesson: If you have a job, think twice before telling someone whos looking that “everywhere is hiring” because though that may be your reality, it may not be theirs...
Happy Healing,
