First rhubarb pie of the season. Oh yum.
A taste of true luxury - vanilla Ice-cream with warm cloudberry jam. It's a delicacy I can allow myself because there are a couple of spots where the berries grow close to my parents' cabin. And tonight? I'm treating myself.
Sticky caramel cake. I'll have to say I do prefer the chocolate version, but I'm still going to make this at least once more, and see if I can adjust it to taste. I'm thinking one size smaller tin, shorter time in the oven, and some additional seasalt. Still, not bad, especially for a first try.
Tomorrow is sticky cake day. I, of course, couldn't resist making one. Usually I make it chocolate, like the original, but today I found a recipe for sticky caramel cake, and since I surprisingly enough had all the ingredients for it, there's one cooling in my kitchen right now. No tasting until tomorrow, but the batter was delicious.
