That awkward moment...
...when you realize that the age difference between your new OTP (well, between Keeley Hawes and Philip Glenister, anyway) is exactly the same as that between one of your least favorite canon pairings in the history of canon pairings (god god Remus/Tonks WHY).
Then that relief-filled moment when you remember that you object to the latter not because of the age difference, but because a) they had NO significant interaction before there was suddenly romance and b) he is so very gay, Tonks honey, I KNOW that is an attractive quality in a man but you deserve better than that, sweetheart, honestly you do.
