I wanna do my best to complete both inktober and the other drawing challenge I have

one of the things I've seen folks push for, is the election of Democrat or left-of-center district attorneys, in order to create checks on police and sheriffs.

if, however, we're gonna elect more liberal DAs, and then punish them for proximity to the legal system, that's real goddamn dumb of us.

the 'Kamala is a cop' rhetoric is exactly that idiotic and short sighted. a Democrat DA that worked to limit police over-reach, reduce incarceration, and create opportunities for convicted persons post incarceration, and now we're gonna circular firing squad all over the place because it's not good enough?

then do more to restructure the system, but be honest with yourself: liberal DAs and prosecutors are one very major step in that restructuring.

Another AU fic idea- The Gig Harbor Killer story line happens as it did on the show, Finn is attacked and put in a coma but the difference is, her adoptive parents/aunt and uncle are still alive and when she wakes up and has their support, they share in her trauma and pain and then finally tell her about her biological mother and she has to process all of that information while trying to recover and also, they don’t approve of her being with Nick and think he’s just being overly nice because of what she’s been through and she and Nick have to prove they are wrong.
